Who We Are
Ekim IT Solutions is a fast-growing, dental-specialized managed service provider based in Maine. We are the preferred IT partner of the Maine Dental Association and we serve dental practices across the Northeast and beyond. We are not a generic MSP. We are specialists, and we operate with discipline, speed, and a standard most MSPs in our market can't touch.
We are growing fast and we need someone who can keep up.
The Role
We are looking for a Tier 3 MSP Engineer who is an absolute force on the ticket queue.
This is not a button-pressing job. This is not for someone who escalates everything and waits to be told what to do. We need a technician who owns problems start to finish, thinks two steps ahead, and makes our boots-on-the-ground team in the US faster and more effective , not more dependent.
You will be the first line of fire every morning when our dental office managers arrive and start submitting issues. You will triage, resolve, escalate intelligently, and document , before most of our US team even has their coffee.
Your job is to make every other person on this team feel like they have a superpower.
Your Responsibilities
Own the ticket queue during your shift , triage, prioritize, and resolve with urgency
Handle Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues independently: networking, server, endpoint, M365, security, dental software integration
Support our on-site US engineers remotely , be the brain when they need one
Identify patterns in recurring issues and build toward permanent fixes, not band-aids
Maintain and contribute to our documentation in Hudu , if it isn't documented, fix that
Streamline internal processes , if something is inefficient, call it out and fix it
Communicate clearly with clients and internal team in written English
What You Must Have
10+ years of hands-on IT experience, with significant time inside a managed service provider
CCNA certification minimum , higher certifications (CCNP, MCSE, etc.) are a strong advantage
Deep experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security (Conditional Access, Entra ID, Defender, Exchange)
Strong Windows Server background , Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Hyper-V
Solid networking fundamentals , VLANs, routing, firewall policy, VPN
Experience working with RMM and PSA platforms in an MSP environment
Excellent written and spoken English , you will interface directly with clients via phone and in writing, and will be expected to handle client calls independently over time
Bonus Points
Familiarity with any of our stack: HaloPSA, NinjaRMM, Huntress, Hudu, Axcient, Domotz, UniFi
Experience with dental practice software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Curve, Sidexis, Dexis)
Experience supporting HIPAA-compliant environments
Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS

Week 1: You get acquainted with our systems, our clients, our stack, and our standards. We will invest in getting you up to speed.
Week 2 onward: You are expected to show value. We will know quickly if you are the right person.
We are direct. If something isn't working, we will tell you. If you are performing, we will reward it. As the company grows, this part-time role converts to full-time with expanded hours (5:00 AM - 1:00 PM Eastern). This is a long-term play for the right person.
