JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable, technically skilled individual to support and improve a growing YouTube automation software platform.

Our software helps users streamline the process of creating YouTube videos, including research, scripting, voiceovers, thumbnails, video creation, and general workflow automation.

This role is primarily focused on technical troubleshooting, debugging, software maintenance, API integrations, and making ongoing improvements to the platform and its infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and debug software issues quickly
Respond to technical questions and support queries
Identify the root cause of bugs and system errors
Assist with software and infrastructure improvements
Work with APIs and third-party integrations
Use Claude and other AI coding tools effectively
Review, understand, and improve existing code
Monitor the platform and help prevent recurring technical issues
Communicate technical problems and solutions clearly
Be available for urgent issues when necessary

Ideal Candidate
You should be:

Highly familiar with Claude, particularly Claude Code
Comfortable using AI tools to build, debug, and improve software
Experienced with coding, debugging, and troubleshooting
Familiar with APIs, webhooks, databases, and software integrations
Able to understand an existing codebase and infrastructure
Resourceful and capable of solving problems independently
Responsive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
Interested in a long-term position with the opportunity to grow
In an ideal world, you will also have experience with YouTube, content creation, YouTube automation, faceless YouTube channels, or software tools built for creators. This is not an absolute requirement, but it would be a major advantage because it will help you better understand our users, workflows, and the problems the platform is designed to solve.
You do not necessarily need to be a senior software engineer, but you must be technically capable, eager to learn, and confident in your ability to investigate and resolve problems.

Availability
We are looking for someone who can provide flexible availability throughout the day and respond promptly when technical issues or questions arise. This is not necessarily constant active work throughout the day, but you should be able to regularly monitor messages, provide quick responses, and assist with urgent debugging when needed.

Compensation
The position will begin at $300 per month for an initial two- to three-month trial period.
Following a successful trial, compensation can increase to approximately $600 per month for a semi-full-time position, with further opportunities for increases based on performance, reliability, technical ability, and the growth of the company.

Please begin your application with the words “YouTube Software” so we know you have read the full job description.
