IT Technician Responsibilities:
• Provide support of incoming requests to the service desk via telephone, web portal, email to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues.
• Prioritize i ---------- and service requests according to defined processes to meet defined SLAs.
• Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests.
• Installing and configuring hardware and software components throughout various network infrastructure devices.
• Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date.
• Server administration via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCP.
• Network firewall and switch administration and maintenance. Enough knowledge of Network Architecture
• Establishing good relationships with all departments, colleagues and Ensuring company safety and security standards are met.
• Remote monitoring and managing of workstations and servers.

IT Technician Requirements:
• College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science and/or 3 years equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 11 Pro, Server ---------- and Mac OS.
• Active Directory knowledge and experience.
• Experience with firewalls, Ubiquiti network devices, Ninja RMM and Autotask PSA Experience a plus
• MSP experience a plus with anti virus and monitoring tools.
• Website and shopify ecommerce experience.
• Backup, Restore and clear idea of Business Continuity
• Good interpersonal skills, with good written and oral communication skills.
• Good problem-solving, and Excellent customer service skills.
• Microsoft Server and Microsoft Desktop operating systems certification preferred.
• CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications are preferred.
