JOB OVERVIEW

Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented SEO Virtual Assistant to perform a Technical SEO and Website Performance Audit for a small business website.
This is a test project, and if the work is completed successfully, it could turn into ongoing part-time SEO and website management work.

???? Task Description

Your main goal is to identify all existing technical and performance issues on our WordPress website before we begin any redesign or content expansion.

You’ll need to:

Run a complete website audit using one or more of the following tools:
SiteChecker, Ahrefs Webmaster Tools, or Google Lighthouse.

Record all problems such as:

Missing or duplicate meta titles / descriptions

Oversized images or slow-loading assets

Missing alt tags on images

Broken links or redirect errors

Mobile usability issues

Any other technical SEO or structure problems

Summarize everything neatly in a Google Sheet or Excel file with clear notes and recommendations.

???? Deliverables

A spreadsheet (Google Sheet or Excel) listing each issue, the page URL, the type of problem, and your suggested fix or next action.

Screenshot proof of the audit report(s) generated from your chosen tools (SiteChecker, Ahrefs, or Lighthouse).

A brief summary paragraph (3-5 sentences) describing the overall health of the website and key priorities to fix first.

Payment will be released once the full report and summary sheet are delivered, reviewed, and approved.

Estimated Time: 3–5 hours total

Deadline: 3 days after assignment

This could lead to ongoing part-time work (5–10 hours per week) for the right candidate, assisting with SEO updates, page optimization, and blog publishing.

? Ideal Skills

Experience with WordPress websites

Familiarity with technical SEO audits and tools like SiteChecker, Ahrefs, or Lighthouse

Basic understanding of page speed optimization and on-page SEO

Ability to organize findings clearly in Google Sheets or Excel

Good written English and attention to detail
