Role Overview
Barrister is seeking a motivated and proactive Technical Recruiter to join our Technician Management & Deployment (TMD) division.
This is a high-volume, outbound recruiting role focused on identifying, screening, and onboarding qualified field service technicians to support Barrister's nationwide service requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
This is a "smile and dial" environment. Success requires someone who is comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls, engaging prospective technicians, evaluating technical qualifications, and consistently moving candidates through the recruiting and onboarding pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
High-Volume Talent Acquisition:
Actively source and recruit qualified field service technicians using job boards, resume databases, professional networks, referrals, internal resources, and cold outreach.
Candidate Screening:
Conduct telephone interviews to evaluate technical experience, field service background, communication skills, tools, transportation, availability, geographic coverage, and overall suitability for available opportunities.
Technical Assessment:
Identify technicians with experience in areas such as desktop and laptop support, printers, point-of-sale equipment, networking, servers, hardware installation, equipment replacement, break-fix service, and other IT field services.
Full-Cycle Recruitment:
Move qualified candidates through Barrister's recruiting and onboarding process, including candidate qualification, testing or skills evaluation, required documentation, background screening coordination, training, and orientation.
Deployment Support:
Work closely with internal Operations and Technician Assignment teams to understand technician coverage gaps, open staffing requirements, client needs, and SLA priorities.
Pipeline Management:
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within Barrister's recruitment and tracking systems. Follow up consistently with candidates until they complete onboarding or are removed from consideration.
Performance Accountability:
Meet established recruiting and productivity expectations, which may include outbound call volume, talk time, candidate activity, technician identification, completed onboarding, and assigned staffing objectives.
Qualifications
Experience in high-volume recruiting, staffing, tele-sales, call center operations, or outbound customer engagement.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Comfortable working in a high-volume "smile and dial" environment.
Strong telephone interviewing and candidate-engagement skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple candidates, staffing requests, and priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven and SLA-focused environment.
Strong computer skills and ability to work with web-based recruiting and tracking systems.
Previous IT staffing, technical recruiting, or field service recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
Terms of Employment
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Work schedule will support Barrister's U.S.-based operations.
Remote Work: This is a 100% remote position based in the Philippines. Candidates must have a reliable computer, stable high-speed internet connection, headset/telephone capability, and a professional remote work environment.
Compensation: $2.75 USD per hour.
Payment: Payments will be disbursed through a verified third-party payroll application.
