JOB OVERVIEW

GoHighLevel • AI • Automations • Integrations • Project Management

**Remote | Paid Project-Based Work | No Hourly Compensation**

I’m an entrepreneur managing multiple brands and projects across service businesses, real estate, AI education, digital products, events, and content.

I move fast. I have a lot of ideas. I am very good at seeing what something *could* become.

What I need is someone exceptional at taking those ideas, organizing them, building the systems behind them, and getting projects across the finish line.

This is **not a traditional virtual assistant job.**

This is also **not an hourly position.**

I am looking for a highly capable technical operator who can complete clearly defined projects involving automation, AI, GoHighLevel, integrations, web technology, and systems.

Each project will have an agreed scope, deliverables, completion standard, deadline, and project fee before work begins.

Strong performance can lead to larger and more frequent projects over time.

## How the Work Is Structured

This role begins with **paid project work**.

There is no expectation that you will immediately become a full-time or part-time employee.

There are no guaranteed weekly hours.

You will not be paid based on how long a task takes you.

You will be paid based on successfully completing agreed-upon projects.

Before each project begins, we will define:

- The desired outcome
- Required deliverables
- Deadline
- Testing requirements
- Documentation requirements
- What qualifies as complete
- Project compensation

Once the project meets the agreed completion standard, the project is considered complete and payment is released according to the agreed terms.

Efficiency is rewarded.

If you can successfully complete a $500 project in five hours because you are highly skilled, I am not interested in reducing your compensation because it did not take you 20 hours.

I am paying for **capability, execution, problem-solving, and completed outcomes.**

## The First Step Is a Paid Test Project

I will not select someone for ongoing work based on an interview alone.

Qualified applicants may be invited to complete a **small paid technical test project**.

This is real paid work, not free sample work.

The test project will be designed to evaluate how you actually operate, including:

- Technical ability
- Problem-solving
- Attention to detail
- Communication
- Organization
- Ability to follow specifications
- Ability to work independently
- Testing and quality control
- Documentation
- Ability to finish a project completely

Applicants who successfully complete the test project may be offered additional paid projects.

There is no guarantee of ongoing work simply because a test project is completed.

Likewise, you are not committing yourself to an ongoing position by accepting a test project.

The goal is for both of us to determine whether we work well together before increasing the size and responsibility of future projects.

## What You'll Help Me Do

Your job is to turn ideas, repetitive processes, and disconnected software into organized systems that actually work.

Projects may include:

- Building and troubleshooting **GoHighLevel workflows and automations**
- Creating funnels, forms, pipelines, calendars, triggers, tags, opportunities, and follow-up sequences in GHL
- Connecting software using APIs, webhooks, Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar tools
- Building AI-assisted workflows using ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms
- Creating AI agents and automations for lead follow-up, customer service, content, internal processes, and sales
- Connecting forms, CRMs, email, calendars, payment systems, websites, databases, and other platforms
- Troubleshooting why an automation isn't working and fixing it without needing step-by-step instructions
- Editing and implementing **HTML and CSS**
- Making minor website, funnel, landing page, and technical updates
- Researching software and determining the best way to accomplish a goal
- Creating repeatable processes and documenting how systems work
- Organizing projects, deadlines, assets, logins, priorities, and next steps
- Managing multiple projects across several brands without letting details fall through the cracks
- Helping schedule and distribute content across platforms
- Identifying processes that should be automated before I even have to ask
- Testing everything before considering a project complete

## What “Complete” Means

A project is not complete because the automation was built.

A project is complete when:

- The agreed deliverables are finished
- The system has been tested
- Errors have been corrected
- Required integrations are functioning
- The workflow performs as expected
- Any requested documentation has been provided
- I can understand what was built and how it works
- Any credentials, links, assets, or files are stored where agreed
- There are no known unresolved issues that were not disclosed

If something is not working, I expect you to tell me.

If something cannot be accomplished as originally requested, I expect you to explain why and recommend the best alternative.

I value transparency far more than pretending something is finished.

## You May Be a Great Fit If...

You are someone who naturally thinks:

**“How can I make this simpler, faster, and repeatable?”**

You don't need every task broken into 15 steps before you can begin.

You can take an outcome such as:

**“When someone fills out this form, I want them added to the CRM, tagged correctly, sent the right information, assigned a follow-up sequence, and my team alerted.”**

…and determine how to build it.

You are organized enough to bring structure to someone who is highly creative, fast-moving, and managing multiple businesses.

You understand that your value isn't measured by how many hours you sit at a computer.

It is measured by what you can **successfully build, solve, complete, improve, and take off my plate.**

## Required Technical Skills

You should already be comfortable with most of the following:

- **GoHighLevel / HighLevel**
- Workflows and automation logic
- CRM pipelines
- Funnels and landing pages
- Forms and surveys
- Calendars
- Email and SMS automation
- Tags, triggers, custom fields, and opportunities
- HTML
- CSS
- APIs
- Webhooks
- Zapier, Make, n8n, or comparable automation platforms
- ChatGPT and/or Claude
- AI workflow design
- Google Workspace
- Domain/DNS basics
- Software integrations
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Project management systems

You do not have to know every platform I use on Day One.

You **do** need to be technically confident enough to learn new software quickly.

## AI Experience Matters

I don't need someone who simply knows how to type prompts into ChatGPT.

I am looking for someone who understands how AI can become part of an actual business workflow.

That could include:

- AI agents
- Prompt and context architecture
- Structured outputs
- API-based AI workflows
- Lead qualification
- Automated responses
- Content workflows
- Data processing
- Internal knowledge systems
- Connecting AI with CRMs and other business software

If you've built real AI automations, I want to see them.

## The Project Manager Side of This Role

Technical ability alone is not enough.

I need someone who can **own projects.**

That means you:

- Keep track of what is outstanding
- Follow up without waiting for me
- Tell me when you are blocked
- Ask smart questions
- Keep files and information organized
- Document what you build
- Test your work
- Communicate progress clearly
- Identify dependencies before they become problems
- Finish projects rather than leaving them at 80%

If I have to continually ask, “Where are we with this?” this probably will not be a good fit.

I need someone who can sometimes tell **me**:

> “Here is what's finished, here's what we're waiting on, here's what I need from you, and here's what we're doing next.”

## How I Work

I want to be transparent about this.

I am a visionary and builder.

I often have several projects moving at once, and organization is not my strongest skill.

Your ability to create structure is part of the value you bring.

I do not want someone who becomes overwhelmed because I have several ideas.

I need someone who can help determine:

**Now. Next. Later.**

Sometimes I'll explain exactly what I want.

Other times I'll explain the outcome I want and expect you to help determine how we get there.

I value initiative much more than waiting for instructions.

## What I Do NOT Want

This role is probably not for you if:

- You are primarily looking for guaranteed hourly work.
- You need detailed instructions for every task.
- Your first response to something unfamiliar is “I don't know how to do that.”
- You consistently miss deadlines without communicating.
- You say something is complete without testing it.
- You disappear when you encounter a technical problem.
- You are uncomfortable learning new software.
- You have only basic Canva or social media VA experience.
- You need me to manage your project management.
- You measure your contribution primarily by hours worked instead of outcomes delivered.

## Compensation

Compensation is **project-based only unless we specifically agree otherwise in writing for a particular engagement.**

Each project will have an agreed fee before work begins.

Project fees will vary based on:

- Complexity
- Technical difficulty
- Business impact
- Required expertise
- Number of integrations
- Testing requirements
- Documentation requirements
- Deadline

I am not looking for the cheapest person.

I am looking for someone highly capable who can create significant leverage in my businesses.

Exceptional work will lead to opportunities for larger, more valuable, and more technically challenging projects.

The better you are at solving problems and getting projects completed correctly, the more valuable this relationship can become for both of us.

## What Success Looks Like

After working together, I should be able to say:

**“Things actually get finished now.”**

Systems work.

Automations run.

Projects are organized.

Technology talks to each other.

Ideas become functioning assets.

And I'm spending less time doing work that software, automation, AI, or a capable operator should be handling.

## How to Apply

Please do **not** send me a generic VA application.

Start your application with:

**“I build systems.”**

Then answer these questions:

1. How long have you worked with GoHighLevel?
2. Describe the most complicated GHL workflow you have personally built.
3. What automation platforms have you used? List your proficiency with Zapier, Make, n8n, or others.
4. Give me an example of an AI workflow or AI agent you have actually built.
5. How comfortable are you with APIs and webhooks?
6. Rate your HTML skills from 1–10 and briefly explain your experience.
7. Rate your CSS skills from 1–10 and briefly explain your experience.
8. Tell me about a time a client gave you an outcome but didn't tell you how to accomplish it. What did you do?
9. How do you organize multiple projects, deadlines, and dependencies?
10. What is something you automated because you noticed it could be automated, even though nobody asked you to?
11. Share screenshots, Loom videos, portfolio examples, or other evidence of systems or automations you have personally built.
12. What types of projects are you strongest at?
13. What types of technical projects are outside your expertise?
14. What country and time zone are you located in?
15. What does your typical availability look like?

Finally, record a **2–5 minute Loom video** introducing yourself and showing me one automation, system, workflow, AI agent, or technical project that you personally built.

I care far more about what you can **actually do** than how impressive your résumé sounds.

### Selection Process

The process is:

**Application → Portfolio/Loom Review → Paid Test Project → Evaluation → Additional Projects**

There is no unpaid test work.

There is no promise of ongoing work until we have successfully completed projects together.

I am specifically evaluating:

- Technical ability
- Problem-solving
- Organization
- Communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Speed without sacrificing quality
- Whether you test before declaring something finished
- Whether you think beyond the immediate task
- Whether you can turn ambiguity into a clear execution plan

If you are the kind of person who loves building systems, solving problems, learning new technology, organizing chaos, and seeing a project go from idea to **DONE**, I would love to hear from you.
