About Us
We are a fast-growing company specializing in high-quality architectural hardware including railings, Lucite/Acrylic, iron door handles, and fully custom-designed hardware. Our work spans both standard and bespoke projects, and we prioritize precision engineering, manufacturing efficiency, and design innovation.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Technical Design Engineer with a strong background in architectural hardware and new product development (NPD). This role is ideal for someone with at least 5 years of experience in product design and engineering, particularly in hardware or related sectors.
The candidate should be able to independently generate factory-ready technical drawings, validate load-bearing aspects of their designs, and collaborate effectively with production teams for smooth handover to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
???? Product Design & Engineering
Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.) for new and existing architectural hardware products
Ensure designs meet structural, functional, and aesthetic standards
Conduct basic load-bearing and stress analysis to validate design strength
Design with consideration for cost-effective manufacturing, including casting, stamping, CNC machining, and other relevant processes
???? New Product Development (NPD)
Support the conceptualization, prototyping, and detailing of new product lines
Translate product ideas into manufacturable technical designs and production-ready documentation
Iterate on designs based on test feedback, feasibility checks, or customer inputs
???? Technical Documentation & Factory Coordination
Prepare and maintain assembly instructions, technical specifications, BOMs, and tolerance standards
Serve as a key technical point of contact for factory teams, helping resolve design-related queries during production
Ensure proper version control and drawing accuracy across all files
???? Custom Order Engineering
Create or adapt drawings for custom orders based on client-specific dimensions or configurations
Ensure all custom solutions are engineered with sound load distribution and installation feasibility
Support client-facing teams with any technical clarifications needed during sales or execution phases
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Design Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Design Engineer in architectural hardware, metalwork, furniture, or related manufacturing fields
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools
Strong understanding of structural loads, support systems, and mechanical connections
Familiarity with metal, glass, and wood fabrication techniques
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Highly organized, reliable, and solution-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with new product development (NPD)
Prior experience with custom fabrication and manufacturing coordination
Exposure to client communication or technical support in a hardware/product environment
Ability to work independently with remote teams and across time zones
What We Offer
Competitive compensation based on experience
Flexible remote working environment
Opportunities to work on diverse and high-impact design projects
Collaborative team culture with a focus on quality and execution
Long-term growth potential across technical and operational roles
