JOB OVERVIEW

WatchDog Security is looking for a part-time Technical Content & Media Coordinator to help turn our product developments, founder expertise and cybersecurity knowledge into consistent high-quality content.

WatchDog is a cybersecurity SaaS company building a continuous security assurance platform spanning security posture, compliance/GRC, third-party risk and related areas. We're a small technical team, so this role works closely with our founders rather than through multiple layers of management.

This is not a generic social media VA position.

We're looking for someone who can take an idea, product update, founder conversation or technical topic and help turn it into clear, useful content.

You'll work on:

-Product announcements and feature-launch content
-Technical and educational blog posts
-Founder LinkedIn/thought-leadership content
-Short-form video editing
-Content repurposing
-Content-calendar ownership
-Webinar and event content
-Topic research and idea generation
-Basic graphics/social media assets
-Publishing and scheduling

You do not need to already be a cybersecurity expert, but you must be comfortable learning technical concepts, asking questions and ensuring claims are accurate before publishing.

We're looking for someone who:

-Has excellent written English
-Has strong content-writing samples
-Can edit polished short-form video
-Understands B2B/social content
-Is highly organized
-Can propose ideas rather than waiting for every assignment
-Is comfortable working directly with founders
-Can learn technical concepts quickly
-Understands that AI can assist content creation but cannot replace judgment or technical verification

Experience with B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, IT, cloud, compliance or another technical industry is a major plus.

Tools may include: Canva, CapCut/Premiere/DaVinci, ChatGPT/AI tools, Microsoft 365, LinkedIn and our content/CMS systems.

Schedule: Approximately 10–15 hours/week, flexible, with potential to expand.

Compensation: $5 USD/hour paid monthly (weekly for first month)
