We serve clinical diagnostic labs, food safety facilities, veterinary teams, and research institutes across the Pacific region.

We are expanding our focus into the vibrant Pacific Island territories and are looking for a motivated scientific communicator to join our team as a Technical BD Specialist.

What You’ll Be Doing:
In this role, you will help bring essential lab solutions to healthcare, research, and industrial testing facilities across the Pacific region. You will combine your scientific background with proactive relationship-building to grow our presence and support our digital catalogue operations.

Territory & Market Outreach: Connect with lab managers, lead scientists, and procurement officers across island territories to introduce NgaioDx's solution portfolio.

Consultative Problem Solving: Understand customer assay, diagnostic, and workflow needs, matching them with the right scientific products.

Sales Execution: Prepare quotations, follow up on proposals, and guide prospective clients smoothly from initial inquiry to closing deals.

Relationship Management: Build warm, long-term trust with new laboratory clients to encourage repeat business.

Catalogue Maintenance: Maintain and update accurate product listings in online customer portals.

Who We Are Looking For:
We welcome candidates with a solid scientific foundation who are eager to apply their technical knowledge in a commercial setting.

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Sciences (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Clinical Chemistry, Pathology) or Medical Laboratory Science (MLS/BMLS).

Sales/BD Experience: Is preferred but not essential.

Technical Familiarity: An understanding of core laboratory workflows and equipment (e.g., PCR, ELISA, microbiology techniques, rapid test kits, or lab consumables).

Communication & Drive: Fluent written and spoken English, paired with a friendly, persuasive tone and an eager-to-learn mindset.
