ProtusBrands is a growing portfolio of direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands. Our flagship brand, Ziella, is a personalized gifting leader in the US market — customized jewelry and gift sets that make thoughtful gifting effortless. We're expanding into new verticals, and building the team to scale multiple brands simultaneously. Remote-first, founder-led, currently 15 people heading to 25 + this year.
THE ROLE
We need a Recruitment Manager who owns hiring end-to-end. You'll find, screen, and close talent across creative and operations roles — video editors, creative strategists, CS agents, VAs, and project managers.
This is NOT an admin or coordinator role. You make hiring decisions. You design trial tasks. You manage agency relationships. When a hire doesn't work out, you figure out why and fix the process.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own full-cycle recruiting across all roles (5+ hires per quarter)
- Build and manage talent pipelines — agencies + direct sourcing
- Design trial tasks that actually predict on-the-job performance
- Evaluate creative portfolios (video, design, writing) and make hire/no-hire calls
- Partner with creative and ops leadership on hiring priorities
- Track recruiting metrics and improve pass rates over time
REQUIREMENTS — PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET ALL OF THESE
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 1 year in high-volume hiring (3+ hires/quarter)
- Experience hiring for REMOTE, CONTRACTOR teams (not just local FTE roles)
- Can evaluate creative work — you can watch a video edit or read a brief and articulate what's good/bad and why
- Comfortable working asynchronously across CST and European timezones
- Strong English communication (written and verbal)
BONUS POINTS
- Previous recruiting at a creative agency, production company, or DTC/e-commerce brand
- Experience hiring video editors or creative strategists specifically
- Familiarity with performance marketing concepts (ROAS, CTR)
- Active in creative talent communities

COMPENSATION
