JOB OVERVIEW

We're hiring for APK VISUALS, a YouTube media company managing multiple faceless channels across TV, Animation, History, and News.

We're currently looking for talented Thumbnail Designers to create high-click, attention-grabbing thumbnails.

Responsibilities:
• Design compelling YouTube thumbnails for long-form content
• Work with video topics, scripts, and briefs to visualize strong concepts
• Use color, composition, and typography to maximize CTR
• Adapt design style to match different channel branding and audiences
• Collaborate with editors, writers, and channel managers
• Follow channel-specific guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures
• Deliver consistently and meet deadlines

Requirements (Flexible):
• Proficiency in Photoshop
• Ability to use basic image generation tools for concept creation
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, contrast, and composition
• Ability to work with different niches and design styles
• Knowledge of YouTube thumbnail psychology and viewer behavior
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow detailed briefs and guidelines
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the role
• Previous YouTube thumbnail experience is a plus but not required
