City Beauty is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Supply Chain Assistant to support the Director of Supply Chain with inventory management, reporting, purchase order tracking, and day-to-day supply chain operations.
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and vendor information, monitoring inbound purchase orders, preparing operational reports, and coordinating with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure product availability. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, is highly organized, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Assist with monitoring finished goods inventory levels across all warehouse locations.
Review & update inventory reports and identify SKUs requiring replenishment.
Coordinate SKU setup, including item creation, BOMs, UPCs, and item groups.
Coordinate internally & with warehouse to troubleshoot any SKU or system issues.
Enter warehouse work orders for product assembly and inventory conversions.
Purchase Order & Vendor Support:
Track purchase orders from placement through receipt, updating expected delivery dates and lead times.
Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, freight partners, and warehouses regarding production schedules and inbound shipments.
Maintain vendor records, pricing, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), packing slips, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and supporting documentation in NetSuite.
Assist in communicating Out of Stock and Back In Stock updates to internal stakeholders.
Reporting & Administrative Support:
Create, maintain, and distribute recurring supply chain reports, including:
Open Purchase Orders
Inventory Reports
Replenishment Status
Vendor Tracking
Other operational reporting as needed
Maintain inventory planning spreadsheets and supply chain documentation.
Support vendor delay tracking and reporting.
Maintain supply chain databases and filing systems.
Cross-Functional Support:
Serve as a liaison between suppliers, warehouses, transportation providers, and internal teams.
Support Product Development and Marketing by providing inventory and production updates for launches and promotions.
Collaborate with QA and Regulatory teams to support product release timelines.
Assist with onboarding documentation for new manufacturing partners.
Support retail order fulfillment activities and reporting as needed.
Process Support
Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and identify process documentation updates when needed.
Support vendor scorecard reporting and KPI tracking.
Assist with maintaining product cost databases and supplier pricing updates.
Requirements:
Working in PDT/ PST (8a-4p or 9a-5p pacific)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office & Google Suite programs required
Experience with ERP systems preferred
Salary - $800-$1000 USD Monthly, DOE
