Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to manage communications with vendors and suppliers. This role will involve handling quotations, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in vendor management within the construction industry and be familiar with Australian business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
-Request and receive quotations from suppliers and vendors
-Update and maintain vendor records and communication logs
-Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
-Assist with organizing orders, deliveries, and invoices
-Maintain accurate files and documentation for supplier agreements and quotations
-Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth vendor operations and address any issues
-Ensure all communications adhere to company standards and are handled professionally
Mandatory Skills:
-Previous experience in vendor management, particularly within the construction industry
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Familiarity with managing supplier relationships and handling quotations
-Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines
-Proficiency in using
-Knowledge of Australian business practices is a plus
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills:
-Experience in the construction or trades industry
