We are a growing book publishing company looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant to join our team. You'll play a hands-on role across a variety of areas, it won't ever get too boring.
This isn't a passive admin role. We need someone who takes genuine ownership of their work, follows processes carefully, and communicates proactively without needing to be chased. Responsibilities
- Research topics and use your creativity to craft outlines/plans for new fiction & non-fiction books
- Edit and proofread content using Grammarly/Originality/other software.
- Plan, launch & manage Amazon Ad campaigns. Training provided.
- Learn how to format books using Atticus & Vellum.
- Create book descriptions, research keywords & plan book promotions.
- Communicate directly with writers, narrators & illustrators — providing feedback, updates, and deadlines to the team.
- Follow established SOPs for all workflows
- Manage general admin tasks and file organisation
- Keep projects on track and flag issues early
- Participate in our daily 30 minute tea
You Are
- Someone with strong attention to detail — nothing slips through the cracks
- An excellent communicator in written English
- Confident using Google Sheets & Docs
- Able to follow SOPs consistently and accurately
- A team player, who wants to grow personally + help the business grow.
- Self-motivated & pro-active — you take ownership and don't wait to be told what to do
- Reliable and available during Philippines business hours (9AM–5PM PHT)
- Not working multiple jobs at the same time - we’ll notice the lack of commitment/investment in your work.
Nice-to-Haves
- Passionate about books & reading
- Familiarity with Trello, Slack, Google Drive, etc
- Experience/skills with coding, or other things that could bring value.

Stage 2: Skills Test
