JOB OVERVIEW

I run an agency in the email marketing for ecommerce space. We help ecommerce brands generate more revenue and profit using email and SMS (using tools like Klaviyo).

We have a Youtube channel where I do talking head videos and share valuable insights to help ecom brand owners generate more revenue through email.

I'm looking for a very skilled video editor to own the post-production process.

What you'll be editing:
- Youtube videos (10–30 min each, talking head + slides/screen recordings).
- Youtube Shorts + Instagram Reels cut from the long-form videos + recorded separately (1-3 minutes).
- Occasional other long and short-form content as needed.
- Knowing how to create high-converting thumbnails is a BIG PLUS. I'll share our formula with you.

What the role may grow into:
- Help with video content research and idea generation.
- Feedback on optimizing and improving our videos.
- Helping with content repurposing across platforms.

What I'm looking for:
- You edit fast without sacrificing quality: clean cuts, good pacing, punchy energy.
- You understand retention editing (hooks, jump cuts, zooms, text on screen, b-roll placement, animations) for YouTube specifically.
- You can take a raw recording + a script/outline and deliver a polished video with minimal back-and-forth.
- You have experience editing talking-head or educational YouTube content (not just vlogs or gaming).
- You're reliable, communicative, and meet deadlines without being chased.
- You know Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and are good with motion graphics or After Effects.
- Bonus: you're familiar with AI video tools so we can always continue innovating and improving.

Details:
- Full-time for the right candidate.
- Paid monthly, fixed rate (we'll discuss based on experience).
- Long-term role. I'm not looking for a freelancer for a one-off project. My team has been with me for years.
- You'll need to be available for async communication during my working hours (CET timezone)
