JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Structural Engineering Drafter to support our engineering team in the production of high-quality construction documents for the fast-paced New York City Construction industry
Key Responsibilities
Develop and document concrete and masonry building designs using Revit for all project phases (SD, DD, CD).
Prepare foundation plans, support of excavation, underpinning, and structural drawings for new building developments utilizing Revit.
Produce accurate structural plans, sections, details, and schedules in accordance with engineering direction.
Coordinate with other disciplines (architecture, MEP, civil) to resolve conflicts and ensure consistency prior to document issuance.
Implement redlines and markups efficiently and accurately.
Maintain Revit models in compliance with office standards and project requirements.
Participate in coordination meetings as required prior to execution.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in Revit is mandatory (structural documentation experience required).
Solid understanding of structural systems, materials, and construction documentation.
Proven ability to coordinate drawings with multiple disciplines prior to execution.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Clear communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in English construction terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Prior experience in an engineering or A/E firm.
Familiarity with NYC codes and construction standards is a plus.
Ability to respond to structural RFIs is a plus.
