JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Structural BIM Coordinator with a strong background in structural engineering and advanced Revit expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating structural, architectural, and MEP drawings to identify and resolve clashes before construction. This role focuses on BIM coordination, shop drawing review, and ensuring design accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to facilitate seamless project coordination and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review structural shop drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
- Coordinate structural, architectural, and MEP drawings to identify and resolve clashes before construction.
- Perform BIM coordination using Revit to ensure design consistency across disciplines.
- Review construction documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Identify design conflicts and coordinate resolutions with the appropriate teams.
- Ensure coordinated drawings are accurate, organized, and ready for construction.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical input during project discussions.
- Maintain organized project documentation and track drawing revisions.
- Support project teams by reviewing and coordinating drawings without producing full drawing sets.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Structural Engineering, BIM Coordination, or Structural Shop Drawing Review.
- Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong structural engineering background with experience reviewing structural shop drawings.
- Experience coordinating structural, architectural, and MEP drawings to identify and resolve clashes prior to construction.
- Familiarity with construction documentation and multidisciplinary coordination workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and responsible, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to review and coordinate drawings without producing complete drawing sets.
- Experience with BIM coordination processes and best practices is highly preferred.
