JOB OVERVIEW

AI-First | Strategy, Technology & Special Projects
Full-time | Remote | Reports directly to the CEO

Is this you?

You love to learn, grow, and explore. You get energized by figuring things out without much direction. You are tech-savvy, fascinated by AI, and already use it every day. When someone hands you a goal instead of a checklist, you light up.

You want meaningful responsibility, exposure to different parts of a growing company, and the opportunity to keep expanding what you know and what you can carry.

If that sounds like you, this might be one of the most exciting roles you will ever apply for.

About us

DAASS is a US-based online education company building at the frontier of what AI makes possible in education.

We build serious, academic-level education, and we are growing from a course platform into a full institution, including a college accreditation partnership and a complete online academy.

We are an ambitious, fast-moving, and highly collaborative team with a close-knit, family-like culture. We support one another, enjoy working together, and are constantly experimenting with better ways to build, teach, and work using AI.

The role

You will work directly with the CEO on some of the company's most important new initiatives.
You will be handed a mission, given the context and a clear picture of what success looks like, and then expected to run with it. You figure out the path, research what you need to learn, build what needs to be built, involve the right people, and come back with outcomes.

This is not a role where you wait for a detailed checklist.

It is a role for someone who can take an important, ambiguous problem and turn it into something real.

No two months will look the same. Here is the kind of work you may own:
1. Educational projects. Help turn expert knowledge into world-class lessons and learning materials, and build the systems that make our curriculum production run smoothly.
2. Strategic initiatives. Take on major questions such as accreditation pathways for our academy. Research the landscape, evaluate the options, identify the tradeoffs, and return with a clear recommendation and next steps.
3. AI and technology for students. Develop Claude projects, AI-powered learning tools, internal systems, and new applications that make education better for our students.
4. Systems and builds. Work with our developers on our learning platform and other company tools. Write clear specs, review what is built, test carefully, give precise feedback, and keep projects moving.
5. New missions. Take on important projects that may not fit neatly into any existing department yet. Learn the domain quickly, figure out what needs to happen, and build the path forward.

You will constantly be learning new domains, solving new problems, building new things, and growing into whatever you prove you can carry.

What a normal week looks like

-Driving 2 to 3 active missions at different stages
-Researching unfamiliar subjects and becoming knowledgeable quickly
-Writing recommendation memos and turning research into clear decisions
-Building tools, documents, workflows, and systems yourself using AI
-Reviewing work from developers and team members and sending back clear, useful feedback
-Coordinating with the people needed to move a project forward
-Short, direct check-ins with the CEO: what moved, what is blocked, what needs a decision

What we are looking for
1. Self-direction.
You have real examples of being handed an ambiguous goal and delivering a result on your own. This role gives you a lot of freedom, and freedom is the reward for ownership.
2. Systems thinking.
You do not just finish the work. You think about how to build the process, documentation, or system so it runs even better the next time.
3. Strong judgment.
You can sort through a lot of information, identify what actually matters, see tradeoffs, and make a thoughtful recommendation rather than simply presenting options.
4. Attention to detail.
You take pride in getting the small things right, and it shows in everything you produce, including your application.
5. Excellent written English.
Much of your output will be written: research memos, specs, documentation, instructions, feedback, and recommendations. You write clearly, precisely, and quickly.
6. AI fluency.
AI is not an occasional tool here. It is part of how we work. You already use AI tools every day to research, think, draft, build, analyze, automate, or solve problems, and you can show us real examples of how.
7. Curiosity and learning speed.
You enjoy entering a subject you know little about, asking the right questions, learning quickly, and developing enough command of it to make something useful happen.
Even better if you have

Technical fluency. You can write a spec a developer can build from, test software carefully, and build simple apps, dashboards, workflows, or automations yourself with AI tools, even without formal engineering training.

Experience as an operations lead, strategic initiatives lead, right hand to a founder, chief of staff, or founder of your own venture.
Experience owning cross-functional projects from an unclear starting point through completion.

Nice bonuses

-Instructional design or curriculum writing experience
-Real software engineering ability
-Experience working with US-based companies
-Experience building with Claude, ChatGPT, no-code tools, APIs, or AI coding tools

What you get

-Daily work directly with the CEO of a growing company
-A senior role with meaningful responsibility and visibility
-Missions with real weight. What you own truly matters to the business.
-Constant learning across education, AI, technology, operations, and business strategy
-The freedom to figure things out rather than simply execute someone else's checklist
-A role that grows as fast as you do
-A smart, ambitious team that genuinely enjoys building together
-Full-time salary paid in USD

How to apply

Complete the application form at the link below.

It includes a short test mission, and we think you will actually enjoy it. It is designed to feel like the real job: you will be given a problem, some context, and the freedom to figure out what to do with it.

That is also how we find the people who will thrive here.
