JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to handle our supply chain operations on Alibaba. Your main goal is to find the best manufacturers, negotiate the best possible terms, and ensure that every product that leaves China meets our high-quality standards.

You will report directly to our Operations Manager and work closely with the CEO.

Your Core Responsibilities:

Supplier Vetting: Identify and verify manufacturers on Alibaba (avoiding trading companies/middlemen).

Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities), and payment terms (aiming for 30/70 splits via Trade Assurance).

Sample Management: Coordinate sample production and shipping to ensure they meet specifications.

Quality Control: Arrange third-party inspections and ensure all production issues are fixed before final payment.

Logistics Coordination: Work with freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery and correct documentation.

Required Qualifications:

Min 2-3 years of experience specifically in Alibaba sourcing for international markets.

Expertise in Trade Assurance, Incoterms (EXW, FOB, DDP), and factory audits.

Deep understanding of Quality Control (QC) processes.

Strong negotiation skills – you must be comfortable pushing back on suppliers to get better deals.

Highly organized with a "never trust, always verify" mindset.
