JOB OVERVIEW

I'm a fitness and mindset coach with 110K followers on Instagram and I post daily. I'm looking for a short-form editor who can take my raw talking-head footage and cut it into Reels that actually hold attention all the way to the end.

This is a storytelling role. I'm not looking for someone to slap captions on a clip and send it back — I need someone who understands pacing, knows when a cut is dragging, and can build a video that keeps someone watching. I have a full SOP, Loom walkthroughs, and a library of my best-performing Reels to model, so you'll know exactly what "good" looks like.

IMPORTANT: You must have real CapCut editing experience and a portfolio of short-form edits you've actually cut. Please do not apply if you're learning from scratch.

What you'll do (daily):

Cut my raw talking-head footage into Reels that follow a Hook → Retain → Reward structure (I'll teach you exactly what that means and give you examples).
Keep the first 3 seconds tight — trim dead air, cut filler words, land the hook fast.
Layer in b-roll, text on screen for the key beats, and light trending background audio so the story keeps moving.
Add auto captions (black text, white outline), headings, and clean, consistent styling that matches my existing Reels.
Export at 1080p/60fps and deliver into the shared folder by the daily cutoff.
Flag anything in the raw footage that isn't usable so I can reshoot it same-day.

You MUST have:

Real CapCut editing experience (you'll show me 2–3 examples of short-form work you've cut).
A feel for storytelling and pacing — you can tell when a cut is dragging and you fix it without being asked.
Reliable daily availability, with edits delivered by an agreed cutoff each day (I work on Irish time, GMT+1 / Europe/Dublin).
A laptop with stable internet and CapCut Pro (or willingness to use my account).

You're a great fit if you:

Watch a lot of short-form and can tell me why a video worked, not just that it did.
Are detail-oriented and consistent — same quality on day 60 as on day 1.
Take feedback fast and apply it permanently without needing to be told twice.
Communicate proactively: if something's unclear, you ask instead of guessing.

What you get:

$3–4/hour, starting with a 3-day paid trial.
A full SOP, Loom walkthroughs, and a reference library of my best Reels — no guesswork.
Long-term role with raises for consistent performance.
Direct work with me and fast feedback.

How to apply: Start your application with the word "INTERRUPT" so I know you read this. Include:

2–3 examples of short-form videos you've edited (links).
Pick ONE of those and tell me in a few lines why that edit worked — what you did with the hook and the pacing.
Your daily availability and your timezone.

Applications without example edits will not be considered.
