About the Company

We are a growing multi-location cafe brand based in the United States, with 40+ retail locations. We are expanding our finance team and looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Staff Accountant who can deliver accurate, timely financial reporting in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.

About the Role

This is a fully remote, full-time position with training provided. You will work closely with the finance team on a range of accounting functions — from reconciliations and payroll entries to financial statement preparation and intercompany tie-outs. This role is ideal for a CPA who wants stable, long-term remote work with a U.S.-based company in the retail and restaurant industry.

Important: This role requires your full, exclusive commitment during scheduled work hours. Applicants who plan to maintain other clients or employment during contracted hours will not be considered. Occasional work beyond contracted hours may be required to meet management needs.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) — Philippines
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in retail, restaurant, or related industries
Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software is a strong advantage
Solid foundation in accounting fundamentals — comfortable with journal entries and general ledger work
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
Able to work independently and professionally in a full work-from-home setup
Stable internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace

Key Responsibilities

Bank, third-party receivables, sales tax, and account reconciliations
Payroll entries and related adjustments
Fixed asset accounting and monthly accrual adjustments (depreciation, expense, and income accruals)
Project cost computation and reporting
Amortizations and cost allocations
Intercompany tie-outs
Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet review and generation
Analyze and process accounting data to produce reports as needed
Review invoices for accuracy and perform adjustments when necessary
