JOB OVERVIEW

We are an established US-based web design, development, and hosting company. We deliver high-performance, secure, and reliable web hosting solutions for businesses, and we are looking for a skilled Senior Server Administrator (5–7+ years experience) to lead our server infrastructure, migrations, and ongoing maintenance.

If you are an expert in the Enhance hosting control panel, skilled with Virtualizor, and adept at leveraging modern automation and AI-driven troubleshooting tools to maintain five-nines reliability, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
Server Provisioning & Deployment: Architect, deploy, and configure high-performance Dedicated and VPS hosting environments.

Enhance Platform Administration: Manage and scale Enhance clusters, including role assignments (App, Database, DNS, Backup), container management, SSL/TLS, and zero-downtime server migrations.

Virtualization Management: Oversee VPS infrastructure utilizing Virtualizor (KVM/LXC/QEMU), handling node health, storage pools, IP assignment, and resource limits.

Proactive Maintenance & Monitoring: Perform regular OS/kernel patching, stack updates (PHP, MariaDB/MySQL, LiteSpeed/OpenLiteSpeed, Nginx), resource monitoring, automated backup verification, and disaster recovery testing.

Security & Hardening: Implement advanced security controls, firewalls (CSF/NFTables), DDoS mitigation, malware scanners (Imunify/Maldet), and isolate tenant environments.

Tier-3 Technical Escalations: Investigate and resolve complex server-level issues, critical performance bottlenecks, database query locks, and elevated customer tickets.

Hybrid Hosting Knowledge: Support workflows interfacing with managed platforms such as ---------- and external staging-to-production pipelines.

Qualifications & Requirements
5+ Years of Dedicated Server Administration: Proven track record managing bare-metal servers, hypervisors, and Linux environments (Ubuntu/Debian/AlmaLinux/RHEL).

Hands-on Enhance Expertise: In-depth working knowledge of the Enhance hosting control panel architecture, CLI tools, cluster deployment, and troubleshooting.

Virtualizor Proficiency: Direct experience setting up, maintaining, and automating VPS instances on bare-metal hardware.

Web Stack Mastery: Deep understanding of Web servers (Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed), PHP-FPM fine-tuning, Redis/Memcached caching, and MySQL/MariaDB database optimization.

Familiarity with Managed Hosting Platforms: Working knowledge of developer hosting workflows and environments like ---------- .

Security & Scripting: Strong shell scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation, paired with rock-solid server hardening practices.
