JOB OVERVIEW

About Us
Da' Roofers is a family-run roofing, siding, gutter, and skylight company
serving Maryland homeowners, based in Brinklow, MD. We're running a
13-week Maryland-focused SEO and content project and need a reliable,
detail-oriented VA to execute it in Squarespace.

The Project
We provide the copy, structure, meta content, schema, and image direction
— your job is to build, publish, and maintain it correctly in Squarespace
on a phased, week-by-week schedule (not a sprint).

What You'll Do
Page Publishing
- Build new local service pages using content/copy/structure we provide
- Add meta titles, meta descriptions, and alt text exactly as provided
- Insert schema markup (JSON-LD) into Squarespace's code injection panel
- Set up internal links between pages as directed

Technical SEO Cleanup
- Fix flagged issues on existing pages: oversized images, missing/duplicate
page titles, meta descriptions, H1 tags, canonical URLs, and broken
redirects — using fixes we provide
- Batch-compress images using a free tool (e.g. TinyPNG) before re-upload

Blog Maintenance
- Publish 2 blog posts/week from our existing content bank (all posts are
pre-written — no writing required)
- Clean up outdated location references in both new and previously
published posts, using our provided text
- Source and place images per our written image direction/concepts
(stock images for general content; project photos once available)

Google Business Profile
- Post to GBP 2x/week using content we provide (we'll grant Manager access)

Must Haves
- Proven Squarespace experience — share 1-2 example sites you've built or edited
- Comfortable with code injection (we provide exact code, you place it)
- Basic Google Business Profile experience (or willingness to learn — it's simple)
- Strong attention to detail — work needs to closely match provided specs
- Good written English, responsive communication
- Comfortable working in phases over ~13 weeks rather than one sprint,
averaging 7-9 hours/week

Scope: fixed at ~95 hours total across the 13 weeks, capped.
Potential for the GBP posting role to continue on an ongoing basis after
the project, if it's a good fit.
