Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and customising Shopify stores, developing custom themes, and implementing third-party apps to enhance e-commerce functionality. If you are passionate about creating seamless and visually stunning e-commerce experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Custom Theme Development: Create, modify, and optimise Shopify themes to meet client needs and design specifications.
Store Setup: Configure and launch Shopify stores, including product uploads, payment gateways, shipping settings, and other essential features.

Customisation: Develop custom Shopify features and functionalities using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Integration: Implement and optimise third-party Shopify apps and APIs to enhance store performance and functionality.
Performance Optimisation: Ensure Shopify sites are optimised for speed, performance, and scalability.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring the store runs smoothly.

Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and clients to deliver e-commerce solutions that align with project goals.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct testing to ensure all features function correctly and are user-friendly.

Ongoing Support: Provide maintenance and updates for existing Shopify sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a portfolio of completed projects.
Proficient in Shopify’s Liquid programming language.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience integrating third-party apps and APIs with Shopify.
Familiarity with Shopify Plus is a bonus.
Understanding of SEO and how it applies to e-commerce.
Knowledge of responsive and cross-browser design.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Experience with other e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce or Magento.
