Position Overview
We are seeking a experienced, highly organized and resourceful Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to help identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for components used in our products. This role will focus on sourcing machined parts, accessories, hardware, and fasteners from domestic and international vendors while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and reliable lead times.

Responsibilities

- Source and identify manufacturers and suppliers for machined aluminum parts, hardware, accessories, and fasteners
- Request and evaluate supplier quotes based on technical drawings and specifications
- Work with machine shops and component vendors to obtain prototypes and production pricing
- Develop relationships with domestic and international suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities
- Track supplier performance including cost, quality, and delivery
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure parts meet specifications
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and alternate suppliers
- Assist with managing purchase orders and supplier communications

Qualifications

- Experience in sourcing or procurement for manufacturing
- Familiarity with machined components, CNC parts, and hardware sourcing
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or CAD files (SolidWorks experience is a plus)
- Strong negotiation and supplier communication skills
- Experience working with international suppliers is preferred
- Highly organized and detail-oriented

Preferred Experience

- Manufacturing or product development environment
- Experience sourcing parts in industries such as sports equipment, bicycles, medical devices, or mechanical assemblies
- Knowledge of aluminum machining, anodizing, and specialty hardware

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience.
