We are a fast-growing international B2B brand. We supply custom branded grip socks and studio essentials, such as bags, towels, and drinkware, to Pilates, yoga, and barre studios across six markets worldwide. Everything we sell is made to order, with custom designs and custom packaging. We are a start-up, not a "slow corporate" company. We move fast, we care about how things look, and we treat our clients like partners, not just accounts.

About the Role

Our product range is growing fast. Next to socks, we keep adding new products like bags, towels, drinkware, and accessories, and every new product needs the right manufacturer. That's where you come in.

As our Sourcing Agent, you find, evaluate, and build relationships with manufacturers, mainly in Asia. You request quotes, compare suppliers, negotiate prices and minimum order quantities, and manage samples until a product is ready to sell. Once a supplier is on board, you pass orders on to them and keep the relationship and supplier information in good shape.

Our clients order for a studio launch, an opening, or an event. The delivery date is a promise they have already made to their own members, so we sell on speed and reliability. The suppliers you bring in need to match that standard.

We are a dynamic company and we like to implement improvements fast. We're not looking for someone who just follows the process, but for someone who makes it better. If you see a smarter way to do something, we want you to speak up, take the lead, and make it happen.

About the Hours

This is a 40-hour position with flexible hours. You plan your own day, as long as you're available for part of the day to overlap with our Dutch team and with our suppliers in Asia. During onboarding we'll agree on fixed overlap moments so your questions get answered fast while you learn the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Sourcing New Products & Suppliers

* Find and research manufacturers for new and existing product categories (socks, bags, towels, drinkware, accessories, and more).
* Request and compare quotes on price, quality, MOQ, lead time, customization options, and packaging.
* Negotiate prices, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms.
* Vet suppliers on reliability, quality, communication, and capacity before we commit.
* Build a backup supplier for our key products, so we never depend on just one factory.

Samples & Product Development

* Coordinate samples with suppliers and make sure they match our specs and branding.
* Give clear feedback to suppliers until a product meets our standard.
* Work with our design team so custom designs, colors, and packaging can actually be produced.

Orders

* Pass new orders on to our suppliers, with all the correct details and files (design, quantities, sizes, colors, materials, packaging, deadlines).
* Double-check every order before it goes out, because one small mistake here means a wrong product for the client.
* Follow up with suppliers so orders leave the factory on time, and flag delays to the team early.

Supplier Management

* Maintain strong, long-term relationships with our suppliers.
* Keep supplier information, prices, MOQs, and lead times accurate and up to date.
* Review supplier performance and help solve quality issues or factory errors together with our complaints team.
* Keep an eye on better or cheaper options in the market, even for products we already sell.

Process Improvement

* Right now, we send orders and design files to suppliers through WhatsApp, WeChat, and different platforms. It works, but it's not organized. We want you to help us build a clear, reliable way of sending and tracking orders, and take the lead in making it happen.
* Look critically at how we source and order, and spot what can be faster, simpler, or more reliable.
* Set up and improve templates, checklists, and workflows for quotes, samples, and orders.
* Use AI tools and automation to save time on repetitive tasks.

Across All Tasks

* Communicate with suppliers via email, WeChat, WhatsApp, Slack, and phone.
* Use AI tools daily for translation, drafting, and research. We work with suppliers and clients worldwide, so this is a core part of the job.

Requirements

* Experience in sourcing, procurement, or purchasing, ideally with manufacturers in Asia.
* A proven track record of finding suppliers and negotiating prices and terms.
* High-level American English, both written and spoken. This is a must.
* Confident on the phone. You'll regularly call suppliers to negotiate and solve problems.
* Highly detail-oriented. You check everything twice, in specs, samples, and orders.
* Proactive. You follow up before things go wrong, not after.
* A natural improver. You see what can be done better and you take action.
* Looking for a long-term role and ready to commit to one company.
* Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel).
* Speaking Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus.
* Experience with custom or made-to-order products (textiles, bags, drinkware, merchandise, or similar) is a strong plus.
* Previous experience working with Dutch or European companies is a plus.
* Able to work independently and take ownership after training.
* Already trained and skilled with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar).

Growth & Onboarding

You will be trained properly and given real time to learn the business before working independently. There is a clear path to take on more responsibility as we grow, for people who show they can handle it.
