JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking to hire a Solar PV Designer to support our US-based solar installation projects.
This role is intended for candidates based in the Philippines who have experience designing solar PV systems for the US market.

Responsibilities:
• Create accurate PV layouts using Aurora Solar and AutoCAD
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical layouts, and permit plan sets
• Perform shading analysis, system sizing, and energy modelling
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and design documentation
• Ensure designs comply with NEC and AHJ requirements
• Revise designs based on QC feedback, utility comments, and permitting requirements
• Support interconnection and permitting teams as needed
• Familiar to Google Sheets/Excel and CRM software.

Work Schedule:
• Total working time: 50 hours per week (5.5 working days)
• Monday to Friday: 9 hours per day (45 hours) and Saturday: 5 hours

This is a long-term position. Salary is fixed with flexibility for strong and experienced candidates.
