The Role

We’re looking for a Software Developer who can contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of Glitchy’s products and technical systems.

You’ll work in a distributed environment where developers are expected to think beyond individual tasks. You should be comfortable understanding the problem, considering the broader system, proposing practical solutions, and taking your work through to production.

This role is a good fit for someone who values autonomy, fast execution, clean engineering, and accountability.

What You’ll Do
Build, improve, and maintain production applications and systems
Develop reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions
Investigate technical issues and identify their root causes
Fix bugs and improve existing functionality
Participate in technical discussions and solution design
Work with existing systems, integrations, APIs, and infrastructure
Test and review your work before releasing it to production
Monitor the impact of changes and address issues quickly
Communicate progress, blockers, and technical considerations clearly
Collaborate with a distributed team while maintaining ownership of your work
Look for opportunities to simplify systems and improve maintainability
Contribute to engineering decisions as your knowledge of the product grows
