JOB OVERVIEW

## Social Media / SEO / Video Editor

We are looking for a talented, reliable person in the Philippines to help manage our social media, SEO, and video content on an ongoing basis.

This role is a combination of **social media management, SEO, video editing, and content creation**. We will provide the primary content and raw video footage. We need someone who can take that content, turn it into polished videos and posts, optimize it for search and social media, and help us grow our online presence.

### Responsibilities

* Edit long-form and short-form video content
* Turn longer videos into Reels, Shorts, and other social media content
* Add captions, graphics, music, and other elements as appropriate
* Create and schedule posts across our social media platforms
* Write strong titles, captions, descriptions, and other social media copy
* Create thumbnails and simple graphics
* Perform keyword research and SEO optimization
* Optimize website and video content for Google and YouTube search
* Help develop and execute a consistent social media strategy
* Track performance and identify opportunities for growth
* Repurpose existing content across multiple platforms

### What We're Looking For

You don't have to be the world's greatest expert in every one of these areas, but you should be **strong in video editing and social media** and have a good working knowledge of SEO.

We especially value someone who:

* Has excellent written English
* Understands what makes social media content engaging
* Can recognize a good hook and write compelling copy
* Has good visual judgment
* Is comfortable learning new tools and strategies
* Can work independently and take ownership of projects
* Is dependable and communicates well
* Wants a stable, long-term working relationship
