Job Overview
We're a social media marketing agency working with influencers and digital content creators. We're looking for a skilled Video Reel Editor to produce short-form vertical content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into polished, engaging short-form vertical videos (9:16)
Add captions, transitions, trending effects, and music sync
Apply colour grading and clean audio
Produce trial reels to test new hooks, formats, and content angles
Use TikFusion to manage, schedule, and post content efficiently
Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips
Meet deadlines and manage a steady volume of content

Requirements

Proven experience editing short-form social media video
Solid understanding of trial reels — how they work and why they matter for growth
Hands-on experience with TikFusion
Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
Strong understanding of social media trends and pacing
Eye for detail, timing, and storytelling
Reliable internet and ability to handle large video files
Good written English for communication

Nice to Have

Experience with motion graphics / After Effects
Familiarity with influencer and creator content
Thumbnail design skills

Skills Test
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a short paid skills test before hiring:

Edit a provided 60–90 second piece of raw footage into a polished 9:16 reel (captions, transitions, music sync, clean audio)
Create one trial reel variation of that same clip using a different hook or opening 3 seconds
Briefly explain (2–3 sentences) how you'd approach posting it through TikFusion

This lets us see your editing quality, your grasp of trial reels, and your TikFusion workflow.
