JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a skilled video editor who specializes in short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.

This role is focused on editing engaging, fast-paced content that is designed to perform well on social media, not just look good.

You’ll be working with raw footage from a variety of clients and industries, including restaurants, real estate, and service-based businesses. Each project may have a different style, so the ability to adapt and match different brand tones is important.

I’m specifically looking for someone who understands how to create high-performing content, including viral-style real estate videos using smooth transitions, speed ramping, and engaging visual effects.

What I’m looking for:

Experience editing short-form social media content
Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and viewer retention
Ability to add captions and on-screen text that enhance the video
Ability to adjust editing style depending on the client/industry
Experience or familiarity with viral-style real estate video editing (transitions, speed ramps, effects)
Familiarity with current social media trends
Ability to follow brand direction and feedback

Bonus if you:

Have experience editing for multiple industries (restaurants, real estate, local businesses, etc.)
Can suggest creative ideas or improvements based on trends as well as conduct market research.

This will be ongoing work for the right person. I’m looking for someone reliable, communicative, and consistent. I want a person who will genuinely want to work with my company and I want someone who is truthful and just willing to keep growing with my business.
