About Tribe ( ---------- )

Tribe is a next-generation group chat app designed for curated, high-quality communities. We help people build meaningful conversations in smaller, more intentional spaces - away from the noise of giant social platforms.

We’re growing quickly and looking for a Social Media Outbound Lead to help us bring Tribe to more people. This is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience in startup growth, social outreach, and community building.

Responsibilities

User Outreach: Actively reach out to potential new users and community builders across platforms like Twitter, Reddit, ---------- , LinkedIn, Instagram, niche forums, and other social spaces where people gather.

Community Engagement: Join conversations in relevant online spaces, share Tribe authentically, and encourage signups.

Group Chat Hosting: Help host and manage small group chats on Tribe. Experience running communities (e.g., ---------- servers, group chats, interest groups) is a big plus.

Research & Targeting: Identify promising communities, influencers, micro-niches, and social channels where Tribe could thrive.

Messaging & Copy: Write clear, friendly, on-brand outreach messages for social media promotion and community conversations.

Growth Experiments: Assist in testing and tracking new growth ideas (e.g., referral campaigns, ambassador outreach, partnerships).

Metrics Tracking: Keep track of outreach efforts and results, reporting back regularly to the Growth team.

Problem Solving: Tackle outreach challenges creatively and calmly, especially when experimenting in fast-paced online environments.

General Growth Support: Jump into other growth-related projects as needed, flexible “startup style” work.

Requirements

Strong written communication skills (casual, personable tone).

Comfortable navigating and engaging across multiple social platforms.

Experience hosting or managing online communities ( ---------- servers, group chats, forums, etc.) is a strong advantage.

Not afraid of rejection - comfortable sending lots of outbound messages.

Self-starter with good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Hustle mindset - you like reaching out, experimenting, and learning fast.

Interest in startups, communities, or social apps is a plus.

Bonus: experience with social media management, growth hacking, or community building.
