Remote | Part-time | Long-term | Consistent Weekly Work
We’re a well-established Canadian e-commerce brand looking for a creative and organized Social Media Marketing Assistant to help us grow our online presence with fresh, high-quality content.
This role is for someone who can create and execute content consistently — not someone who posts generic templates.
What You’ll Do
1) Content Creation + Scheduling
You will create and schedule:
Instagram posts (static + carousels)
Stories (consistent weekly posting)
Reels / short-form videos (required)
? You must be able to create content that feels premium, branded, and modern — not cookie-cutter or “VA style.”
Tools: Canva + scheduling tool (Later/Metricool/Meta etc.)
2) Creative Brainstorming (Not Just Execution)
You’ll work directly with the owner to:
brainstorm content ideas weekly
plan story sequences
create hooks, captions, and angles that don’t feel salesy
keep content aligned with brand voice and seasonal launches
This is a proactive role — you should bring ideas, not wait for instructions.
3) Marketing Support + Light Admin
update content calendar
help organize assets (folders, templates, captions)
track what content performs well
create reusable systems/templates (without becoming generic)

You are a strong fit if:
You have strong Canva skills (required)
You can edit short-form video content (Reels/Shorts/TikTok style)
You understand branding, aesthetic, and storytelling
You communicate consistently and clearly
You are reliable: no disappearing for days
Note: This is remote, but consistency is non-negotiable. We’ve had issues in the past with remote contractors going silent for days. That will not work for this role.
