Social Media Manager / Video Editor
About the Role
I’m looking for a Social Media Manager / Video Editor to join my team and help me manage my content and social media.
The main focus of this role is video editing, especially short-form content. You’ll also help with content scheduling, social media management, and keeping everything organized.
I’m looking for someone who can create content that feels natural, engaging, and authentic, while following the style and direction already established.
What You’ll Do
* Edit 2 short-form videos per day for social media.
* Edit 2 long-form YouTube videos per week.
* Add captions, light B-roll, graphics, and text overlays.
* Repurpose long-form videos into short-form content.
* Create simple thumbnails and graphics using Canva.
* Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
* Help maintain the content calendar.
* Monitor and respond to comments.
* Track basic content performance and engagement.
* Assist with simple lead follow-ups when needed.
* Keep content consistent with the existing style and direction.
What I’m Looking For
* 3–5 years of video editing experience.
* Experience editing both short-form and long-form content.
* Strong skills in talking-head editing, captions, pacing, and B-roll.
* A portfolio showing your video editing work.
* Comfortable using Canva or similar design tools.
* Familiar with Instagram, TikTok,
* Organized and able to manage multiple content pieces.
* Comfortable working independently.
* Willing to work CST hours.
* Experience with GoHighLevel, ClickUp, Riverside, or AI tools such as Claude is a plus.
The Person I’m Looking For
I’m looking for someone who:
* Enjoys creating content that feels real and authentic.
* Has a good eye for pacing and storytelling.
* Can follow an existing style and direction.
* Is reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
* Can work independently without needing constant supervision.
* Takes ownership of their work and deadlines.
* Is comfortable working in a fast-paced content environment.
You don’t need to be a social media strategist. I’m mainly looking for someone who can edit great content, stay organized, and consistently deliver on time.

If your profile is a good match, I’ll ask you to complete a short editing test using provided footage.
