JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a creative and thoughtful Social Media Manager to help manage the social media for two ecommerce brands. You will help plan, create, and manage content for Instagram + Facebook. This is a remote part-time role, around 3–4 days of work per week (schedule to be discussed). This role is not just about posting content. We want someone who understands good storytelling, strong hooks, and engaging posts.

About the Brands:
Oono - Oono creates premium backpacks designed for modern professionals and frequent travelers.
Our brand focuses on organization, reliability, and simple smart design.

Mylk Fat - Mylk Fat is a natural skincare brand built around grass-fed beef tallow.
The brand focuses on simple ingredients, skin nourishment, and premium skincare.

What We’re Looking For:
We want someone who can create thoughtful social media content, not generic posts. We want to see:

• More Reels and carousels
• Strong hooks and text overlays
• Storytelling and varied post formats
• Posts that feel clean, thoughtful, and premium

You should take the time to understand the brand before creating content. Lazy or generic AI content is not what we’re looking for. AI can be used as a tool, but the final content should feel intentional and on-brand.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and schedule social media posts
• Create Reels, carousels, and posts
• Write engaging captions and hooks
• Suggest content ideas and formats
• Monitor performance and improve content
• Reply to comments and messages when needed

Replies should feel natural and thoughtful, not robotic. Stay up to date with social media trends while keeping the brand quality high.

Requirements:
• Experience managing social media for brands
• Strong understanding of Instagram content (Reels, carousels, hooks)
• Good writing skills
• Good visual taste for premium brands
• Able to work independently
• Able to receive feedback and improve work

We prefer fewer high-quality posts rather than many low-quality posts.
