JOB OVERVIEW

Who We Are:

The Randall Osché Podcast is a long-form interview podcast focused on real conversations with people navigating meaningful personal and professional change. The show is intentionally built to grow steadily and sustainably, with systems that reduce dependency on any one person.

What We Do:

We publish long-form podcast episodes and repurpose that content across social platforms to extend reach and shelf life. The focus is consistency, clarity, and thoughtful distribution, not viral gimmicks.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a part-time Social Media Manager whose primary responsibility is executing and maintaining a consistent social presence for the podcast. This role is execution-first, with room to grow in scope over time.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Schedule and publish social posts across defined platforms
- Repurpose podcast episodes into short-form content
- Maintain an organized content calendar
- Ensure consistency and follow-through week to week

Secondary Responsibilities (Helpful, Not Required)

- Light video editing for clips
- Simple graphic creation using Canva
- Coordinating with the editor or guest manager
- Basic tracking of what content performs well

Additional Context:

This role is best suited for someone who values structure, consistency, and ownership. You will be given clear expectations and processes and will be trusted to execute without micromanagement.

Experience Requirements:

- Prior experience managing social media for a brand, creator, or podcast
- Ability to show examples of past work or accounts managed
- Comfortable working independently and meeting weekly deadlines

Hours and compensation:

Hours and hourly rate will be determined based on experience, demonstrated competency, and performance over time. The role will be part-time, with the potential to expand hours and scope for the right person.

I value reliability, ownership, and follow-through. Strong performance will be rewarded with additional responsibility and increased compensation over time.

Hiring process:

- The hiring process is intentionally structured and straightforward:
- Initial interview to confirm fit, communication, and expectations
- The second interview focused on role-specific experience and approach
- Paid task designed to reflect real work from the role

The paid task is required and will be compensated. This ensures clarity and fairness on both sides before moving forward.
