JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a high-level Social Media Manager to take full control of multiple event-based social media accounts (6–10 brands) and grow them into large, active communities that convert into real ticket buyers.

This is NOT a basic posting job.

We need someone who understands how to:

- Grow followers
- Create engaging content
- Interact with audiences
- Stay current with trends and conversations within each niche

Responsibilities:

- Manage and grow 6–10 social media accounts across:
- Facebook
- Instagram
- TikTok
- YouTube (Shorts)
- Snapchat
- Post multiple times daily across platforms
- Create and edit content (images, reels, short-form video)
- Monitor trends, conversations, and viral content within each niche
- Adapt content to match what is currently relevant and engaging
- Respond to comments and messages daily
- Actively engage with followers and community members
- Participate in conversations within groups and communities
- Build relationships and increase audience involvement
- Maintain consistency and branding across all accounts
- Drive followers toward ticket purchases and event engagement

Requirements:

- Proven experience growing and managing social media accounts
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
- Ability to create engaging and relevant content
- Good video editing skills (short-form content)
- Ability to identify trends and apply them correctly to a niche
- Strong English communication
- Organized and able to manage multiple accounts
- Self-driven and does not require micromanagement

Work Style:

- Full ownership of social media
- Minimal oversight
- Expected to take initiative and stay ahead of trends
- Focused on results, engagement, and growth—not just posting

Compensation:

- $6–$11/hour (90-day probationary period)
- $11–$16/hour for high performance

Performance-based increases available quickly for strong results.

Hiring Timeline:

- Interviews will begin immediately (starting tomorrow through Saturday)
- We are looking to make a hiring decision by Sunday

- 2 Facebook/Instagram post ideas
- 2 TikTok/Reel ideas
- 1 engagement-focused post (designed to get comments/shares)

Include:

- Caption
- Content idea (what the post/video shows)
- Why it would perform well

4. Trend Awareness Test:

Explain how you would stay updated on what the reptile (or pet) community is currently talking about and how you would turn that into content.

5. Decision Test:

If a trending video format is going viral but doesn’t perfectly match our niche, explain how you would d ---------- whether to use it or skip it.

6. Additional Questions:

- What is your desired starting hourly pay?
