JOB OVERVIEW

Era Organics is a skincare brand looking for a creative, highly independent Social Media Manager + Content Creator to help us grow our organic social presence.
This is not a role where we want to tell you exactly what to post every day. We want someone who can look through our existing footage, understand our products and brand, come up with content ideas, write scripts, create posts, and tell us exactly what new footage you need from us each week.
What You’ll Do
- Manage our Instagram and TikTok content
- Go through our existing library of product footage, UGC, B-roll, photos, and founder content and turn it into new content
- Come up with your own Reel/TikTok concepts, hooks, scripts, captions, and content series
- Edit short-form videos
- Create static posts and carousels
- Use AI tools to create videos, images, graphics, and additional content
- Give us a clear weekly shot list of any new footage you need us to film
- Research trends, competitors, hooks, and content formats that are working
- Review our own content performance and create more variations of what performs well
- Post and schedule content consistently
- Respond to comments and DMs in the brand voice
- Reach out to content creators and customers to encourage them to post about Era Organics
- Keep track of creator outreach and follow up
- Work independently and proactively bring us new ideas
What We’re Looking For
You should be someone who can look at a folder with a bunch of random footage and think:
“I can make 10 pieces of content out of this.”
We want someone with:
- Strong short-form video editing skills
- Good creative instincts and visual taste
- Strong hooks and scriptwriting ability
- Experience managing Instagram/TikTok for a brand
- Experience with Canva and CapCut or similar tools
- Experience creating AI videos and AI images
- Good written English
- Strong organization and follow-through
- The ability to work independently without waiting for us to constantly give you ideas
- Comfort communicating with customers and creators through DMs/comments
Beauty, skincare, wellness, or e-commerce experience is a big plus.
