# Social Media Manager – E-Commerce Brands

We are looking for a creative, reliable, and experienced **Social Media Manager** to help manage and grow our e-commerce brands across multiple social media platforms.

Our brands sell fashion, sports, Greek/sorority, accessories, fans, bags, umbrellas, and other lifestyle products. We are looking for someone who understands how to create content that **gets attention, builds engagement, and helps convert followers into customers**.

This is not a position for someone who only knows how to post graphics. We need someone who can take initiative, develop content ideas, stay on top of trends, and help us grow.

## Responsibilities

* Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest
* Create and maintain a weekly/monthly social media content calendar
* Create engaging Reels, TikToks, Stories, posts, and promotional content
* Edit short-form videos using CapCut, Canva, or similar tools
* Write captions, hooks, calls-to-action, and hashtags
* Schedule and publish content consistently
* Repurpose existing product photos and videos into new content
* Research current trends, sounds, content ideas, and competitors
* Create content around new products, sales, pre-orders, launches, and promotions
* Help generate content ideas that encourage customers to purchase
* Respond to comments and help maintain engagement
* Monitor social media messages and flag customer-service issues when necessary
* Track content performance and identify what is working
* Provide a simple weekly report showing growth, engagement, top-performing content, and recommendations
* Help manage TikTok Shop/social commerce content
* Assist with influencer/UGC content ideas when needed

## What We're Looking For

You should have:

* Previous experience managing social media for an e-commerce or product-based business
* Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and TikTok
* Experience with Canva and AI
* Experience editing short-form videos
* Excellent written English
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow brand guidelines
* Ability to work independently without needing instructions for every post
* Understanding of social media trends and online shopping behavior
* Ability to meet deadlines and communicate consistently

Experience with **Shopify, TikTok Shop, Meta Business Suite, Pinterest, CapCut, Canva, or social media scheduling platforms** is a plus.

## VERY IMPORTANT

We are looking for someone who is **creative and proactive**.

I do not want to provide every caption, every content idea, and every trend for you to use. I need someone who can look at our products and say:

**“Here are 5 ways we can market this product this week.”**

You should be comfortable researching ideas and bringing suggestions to the table.
