Position Overview-
Position Title: Social Media Manager
Employment: Type Full-Time, Remote (Philippines)
Reports To: Scott & Mallory Edgett (Owners) & Kelsey Hernandez (Assistant)
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST (with flexibility during content push periods)
Compensation Range: Competitive based on experience (discuss with hiring manager)

ROLE SUMMARY-
The Social Media Manager serves as the operational hub of our three-law firm digital content engine. This person is responsible for organizing, overseeing, and coordinating the daily output of video content, captions, scheduling, and performance tracking across all 4 social media channels for all 3 different law firms. This is not a passive scheduling role. We expect the Social Media Manager to take genuine ownership of our online presence and to treat each piece of content as a direct extension of our legal brands. You will work directly alongside our two video editors and publisher while reporting to our Director of Marketing and Principal Attorney. You will be the first line of quality control for everything that goes out under our firm names.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-
Content Strategy and Oversight:
•Develop and maintain a weekly content calendar for all three law firms, differentiated by practice area and target geography.
•Collaborate with the Owners (Scott & Mallory) to generate recent trends, hot topics, and all other scripts for each of the three law firms on an educational base, ______ base, ______ base, and ______ base. Each must have a strong hook and strong call to action at the end.
•Collaborate with the Principal Attorneys and Owners (Scott, Mallory, Michael, and Amanda) to create raw video recordings saved and uploaded and transformed into organized, platform-ready content videos.
•Delegate to Editors the raw video, initial written video scripts, and any other specific instructions for each social media video idea.

•Maintain distinct brand voices for each firm: Texas criminal and juvenile defense for The Edgett Law Firm; Texas personal injury for Edgett Hawk Injury Law, and Florida personal injury for Florida CAIL (Coastal A
•Research trending legal content topics, hashtags, and audio to keep content culturally relevant.
Team Coordination:
•Assign raw video footage and topic briefs to the appropriate video editor based on firm and content type.
•Conduct daily quality review of all edited videos before they are forwarded to the Publisher for scheduling.
•Provide clear, written revision notes to video editors with specific timestamps and changes required.
•Maintain a shared content tracker (Google Sheets, Notion, or other) showing the status of every piece of content in production.
•Facilitate weekly team check-in calls with the editing and publishing team.
Platform and Tools Management:
•Manage scheduling queue in Metricool across all firm accounts.
•Monitor platform algorithm changes and adjust posting strategy accordingly.
•Oversee AI tool usage by the team, including Opus Clip for short-form clipping, Veo 3, Synthesia, and/or HeyGen where applicable.
•Ensure all CapCut templates, transitions, and caption styles remain consistent with each firm's brand guidelines.
Analytics and Reporting:
•Pull weekly performance reports fro
•Identify top-performing content and communicate patterns to the Principal Attorney each week.
•Flag underperforming content with documented reasoning and recommended adjustments.
•Prepare a monthly analytics summary with insights on reach, engagement, follower growth, and lead-generation indicators.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS-
•Minimum 2 years of social media management experience, preferably for a professional services or legal/lawfirm branding.
•Proven track record managing multi-platform content calendars at volume.
•Fluency in written English with strong caption-writing skills and an understanding of American legal communication norms.
•Proficiency with Metricool or equivalent scheduling platforms (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite).
•Working knowledge of CapCut, Opus Clip, and AI-assisted content tools.
•Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content tracks simultaneously without dropping details.
•Comfortable working independently and making judgment calls within defined brand guidelines.
