JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Social Media Manager (20 Hours/Week)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Social Media Manager to help manage and execute high-volume social media content for multiple clients. This is a part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow into additional hours or a full-time role as the company expands.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how social media works across multiple platforms and can efficiently create, schedule, and manage content while keeping clients informed and engaged.

Responsibilities

Manage and schedule high-volume social media posts across multiple client accounts

Write engaging social media captions and copy optimized for each platform

Research and implement effective hashtags and posting strategies

Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts

Design graphics and social media posts using Canva
Skilled video editing via capcut, adobe, and ai platforms

Schedule and organize content calendars for multiple clients

Monitor posts and ensure consistency in branding and messaging

Communicate with clients by providing updates on content and posting schedules

Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube

Experience creating and managing high-frequency social media content

Proficiency with Canva and basic graphic design principles

Experience with short-form video editing

Strong writing skills for captions, hooks, and social media copy

Understanding of hashtags, engagement strategies, and platform optimization

Highly organized and efficient with the ability to manage multiple accounts

Strong communication skills when interacting with clients

Preferred Experience

Experience using social media scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite)

Experience working with marketing agencies or managing multiple brands

Familiarity with analytics and social media performance tracking
