We are seeking an experienced Social Media & Marketing Manager, responsible for managing all digital marketing and social media activity for our group of business - with the primary focus being on our Transportable business.
This role is outcome-driven and suited to someone who can independently plan, execute and optimise marketing campaigns while actively managing and converting social media enquiries. In addition to a base contractor rate, commission-based incentives will apply for qualified and converted leads.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Management
Manage all social media platforms including
Create, schedule and publish engaging, high-quality content tailored to the New Zealand housing market.
Ensure consistent branding, tone and messaging across all platforms.
Develop short-form video, posts, reels and stories showcasing transportable homes, builds and promotions.
Marketing & Lead Generation
Develop and execute organic and paid social media marketing campaigns.
Manage paid advertising budgets, targeting, testing and optimisation.
Drive enquiry volume and improve lead quality through data-led marketing decisions.
Enquiry Management & Sales Support
Respond promptly and professionally to all social media and digital enquiries.
Qualify leads, provide accurate product information and pricing guidance.
Pass qualified leads to the sales team and support follow-up where required.
Track enquiry sources, engagement and outcomes.
Reporting & Performance
Provide regular performance updates covering reach, engagement, enquiries and conversions.
Monitor campaign effectiveness and refine strategy to maximise ROI.
Commission-Based Incentives
In addition to the agreed contractor rate, commission will be paid on:
Qualified leads that progress to confirmed sales; or
Sales directly attributable to social media and digital marketing activity.
Commission structure and payment terms will be agreed prior to engagement and aligned with measurable outcomes.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Demonstrated experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of paid and organic social media strategies.
Excellent written communication skills and customer-focused approach.
Experience handling online enquiries and converting interest into leads.
Preferred
Experience in property, construction, transportable or modular housing.
Ability to create basic graphics and video content (e.g. Canva, CapCut).
Experience using CRM or lead-tracking systems.
Good understanding of the New Zealand market and buyer behaviour.
