JOB OVERVIEW

We manage social media for small businesses in the United States. Content creation and scheduling are already handled by another team. This role is engagement only. You will not write posts or design graphics. Your job is everything that happens around the content.

We will need you to reply to comments and direct messages on Facebook and Instagram across four business accounts to start. Grow followers in each client's local market, meaning real people who could actually become customers rather than random accounts.

Research and find local pages, businesses, and groups where it makes sense for the client to show up, then comment there meaningfully on their behalf. Flag anything that needs the owner's attention.
Report activity and follower growth weekly

We need someone with proven experience doing engagement for business accounts. We are not going to train someone into this role. Native-level written American English, including how people actually talk. You will be writing publicly as the business.
Reliable daily availability with meaningful overlap with US Pacific hours. Strong judgment about tone.

WHAT THIS JOB IS NOT

Not content creation. Not sales. Not technical support. And not bot work. Generic comments like "great post" or "nice work" are worse than saying nothing. Every comment should show that a real person actually read the post.

HOURS AND PAY

20 hours per week to start
$6 per hour
Paid every two weeks via Wise
Paid trial period before the ongoing arrangement begins

This starts at 20 hours across four accounts. Basically 1 hour per day per account. Hours will be 12:00 Pm to 4:00 PM Pacific Standard time. If all goes well, this will turn into full-time work quickly. We are adding clients, and the person handling engagement grows with us. There is room for more hours, more accounts, and pay increases.
