About the Role
SRG is looking for a Social Media Manager to own social media strategy, execution, and reputation across our entire store network. This is both a strategic and hands-on role: you'll set the direction for organic social, influencer, ambassador, and community/reputation efforts across all markets, while also directly managing the specialists who execute that work in each region. You'll be equally comfortable building a content calendar and a growth strategy as you are jumping into a comment thread or a public review that needs a thoughtful, on-brand response.
This role is the connective point between corporate marketing strategy and what actually shows up on each store's social channels and in each community's perception of the brand — and between company standards and the regional specialists carrying that work out day to day.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Oversight
Own organic social media strategy across all store markets, setting direction for content, tone, and channel mix.
Oversee asset creation to support upcoming campaigns, coordinating with the Designer and broader marketing team.
Build and maintain a programming calendar for social content, ensuring consistent, on-brand publishing across all markets.
Analyze platform-level performance data regularly and translate insights into adjustments to content strategy, posting frequency, format mix, and audience targeting.
Regional Team Management
Manage Social Media Specialists assigned to each region, setting goals, assigning and scheduling tasks, and reviewing performance.
Coach and develop specialists to improve local content quality and consistency with brand standards.
Onboard new regional specialists and ensure smooth integration into SRG's marketing systems and standards.
Serve as the escalation point when regional execution needs corporate-level guidance or intervention.
Community & Reputation Management
Own community and reputation management across social and review platforms, including direct engagement where needed.
Manage the tea
Monitor sentiment and flag emerging issues before they escalate, coordinating with leadership on response strategy for sensitive situations.
Develop and maintain response guidelines/playbooks to keep community and reputation management consistent across markets.
Influencer & Ambassador Programs
Lead influencer strategy across all markets, including monthly outreach to identified community groups by channel and location.
Coordinate influencer participation in Grand Openings, VIP parties, and seasonal activations.
Own the ambassador program, driving deeper, ongoing community engagement at the store level.
Project Management
Develop, assign, and schedule tasks across the social and community management function using Asana (or comparable tools).
Maintain clear timelines and accountability for recurring content, campaign, and community management deliverables.
Strategic Marketing Planning
Contribute to franchise annual and quarterly marketing strategy, aligning social/community efforts with broader in-store and out-of-store initiatives.
Collaborate with the operations team on promotions, new store openings, and seasonal activations from a social/community lens.
Qualifications
- Prior experience managing social media strategy and execution across multiple locations, markets, or brands.
- Direct experience managing a team, ideally including remote or distributed tea
- Demonstrated experience in community and/or reputation management, including handling sensitive or public-facing situations with sound judgment.
- Strong project management skills — comfortable developing, assigning, and tracking tasks across a team.
- Experience with social platforms' native tools and analytics, plus familiarity with project management tools (Asana or comparable).
- Excellent written communication skills and a strong sense of brand voice.
- Comfortable balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
