We are looking for a talented and reliable Social Media Content Creator and Manager to manage the ongoing content needs of two Australian businesses:
Policypass — a compliance, policy, training and continuous improvement platform for Australian early education services.
Ping Networks — an IT support and managed services business helping organisations manage their technology, security and infrastructure.
This is a long-term role for someone who can do more than simply publish posts.
We need a person who will take the time to deeply understand each business, our services, our brand voice, our customers and the problems we solve. You will then turn that understanding into engaging, professional content designed to build awareness, generate enquiries and support sales.
The tone and content style will vary between the two businesses and their audiences. You must be confident adapting your writing and creative approach while maintaining a consistent brand identity for each business.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing the social media content workflow from idea through to reporting.
This will include:
Developing monthly and weekly social media content plans.
Researching content ideas relevant to each business and audience.
Writing engaging social media captions, headlines, hooks and calls to action.
Designing professional branded graphics, carousels and promotional content in Canva.
Creating content using business information, product features, customer pain points, industry news, screenshots, videos and supplied assets.
Using ChatGPT and other AI tools effectively to improve content creation without producing generic or low-quality content.
Repurposing existing content into multiple formats.
Uploading, scheduling and managing posts through platforms such as SocialPilot.
Creating different content for
Maintaining a structured content calendar.
Sharing proposed posts in a WhatsApp approval group before publishing.
Making requested revisions quickly and accurately.
Ensuring no content is published without approval.
Monitoring comments, engagement and audience responses.
Identifying opportunities to engage with relevant businesses, industry pages and potential customers.
Reviewing organic post performance and paid advertising results.
Reporting on reach, engagement, clicks, enquiries, leads and other relevant metrics.
Recommending improvements based on the performance of previous content.
Helping us determine which content formats, topics and campaigns are most likely to generate leads and sales.
The Person We Are Looking For
You should be highly organised, creative, commercially minded and able to work independently.
You must understand that successful business content is not only about making attractive graphics. The purpose of the content is to reach the right audience, communicate value, build trust and ultimately generate enquiries and sales.
You should be able to study a business, understand its products and customers, and communicate in a way that feels natural and authentic to the brand.
Essential Skills
Applicants should have strong experience with:
Social media content creation and management.
Canva and professional template-based design.
ChatGPT and AI-assisted content creation.
Social media scheduling tools such as SocialPilot, Buffer, Vista Social, Zoho Social or similar.
Facebook
Writing strong hooks, captions and calls to action.
Content calendars and approval workflows.
Adapting content for different audiences and platforms.
Reviewing analytics and preparing clear performance reports.
Following brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency.
Managing multiple businesses or brands at the same time.
Written English communication.

Content Approval Process
You will prepare content in advance and submit it for review through a dedicated WhatsApp group.
Each proposed post should include:
The graphic, carousel or video.
The final caption.
The intended platform.
The proposed publishing date and time.
The purpose of the post.
Any relevant call to action or campaign link.
Content must be approved before it is scheduled or published.
Reporting Expectations
You will provide a regular report covering:
Content published.
Organic reach and impressions.
Engagement rates.
Link clicks.
Enquiries and leads generated.
Best-performing posts.
Poor-performing posts and possible reasons.
Paid advertising results where applicable.
Recommendations for the next content period.
We are not looking for reports containing numbers without explanation. We want someone who can interpret the results and recommend what we should do next.

Working Arrangement
Remote position.

Approximately 1 hour per day to begin with.
Must be available for some communication during Australian business hours.
Must be comfortable communicating through WhatsApp.
