JOB OVERVIEW

[About the Position]
Glow Dance & Fitness is looking for a creative, dependable, and organized Social Media Content Creator & Video Editor to manage our social media presence and produce engaging short-form video content.
This position is ideal for someone who understands current social media trends, enjoys creating energetic visual content, and can turn dance class footage into polished videos that connect with our audience and support student enrollment.

[Key Responsibilities]
Edit, schedule, and publish engaging short-form videos on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other designated platforms.
Maintain a consistent daily posting schedule using approved content and scheduling tools.
Manage the studio’s social media accounts, including captions, hashtags, comments, messages, and basic account organization.
Create promotional content for dance classes, instructors, performances, special events, and studio announcements.
Support student enrollment by creating clear and engaging content with appropriate calls to action.
Capture photos and videos at the studio when scheduled.
Adapt editing styles to different classes, audiences, promotions, and social media trends.
Follow Glow Dance & Fitness branding, privacy, and content-approval guidelines.
Use only studio-approved footage and confirm that appropriate consent is on file before posting content featuring students or minors.
Monitor content performance and provide basic updates on views, engagement, inquiries, and audience growth.
Complete assigned content according to the agreed schedule and meet posting deadlines.

[Qualifications]
Experience editing short-form social media videos.
A portfolio or examples of previous video and social media work.
Proficiency with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar programs.
Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and current content trends.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
Creative, flexible, dependable, and able to manage multiple content requests.
Ability to write clear and engaging English captions.
Experience with dance, fitness, lifestyle, or family-focused content is a plus.
Availability for occasional scheduled filming during evenings, weekends, performances, or special events.

Daily posts may be prepared and scheduled in advance. This position does not require seven-day or around-the-clock availability.
