JOB OVERVIEW

1) THE ROLE
Do you think in visuals, trends, and story-driven social content? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where creativity meets execution? Suad's Gems is looking for a Social Media Content Creator to help us grow our brand and show up consistently across social and digital channels, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling and cultural relevance.

As a core part of the team, you will own the day-to-day execution of Suad's Gems content across LinkedIn ( ---------- ), Instagram, and our newsletter ( ---------- ).

This role is for a hands-on creator who can bring ideas to life through engaging visuals and sharp written content, while staying organized around planning, performance, and consistency.

The ideal candidate is creative, platform-savvy, and editorially sharp. You understand what performs on LinkedIn and Instagram, can write strong social copy, and are comfortable using design tools to produce polished, on-brand content. You bring structure to creativity, take ownership of timelines, and are excited to help Suad’s Gems stand out.

Finally, has direct experience in the luxury, beauty, or fashion industry. You follow the space closely, you have opinions on it, and that knowledge shows up in your work. You understand what this audience expects visually and how to speak to them.

Typical Weekly Output:

• 2–3 LinkedIn carousels (visual design, hook, verified storytelling)
• 1–2 Instagram infographics (visual design, hook, verified storytelling)
• Writing and sending one weekly newsletter
• Maintaining and updating visual template and hook libraries
• Updating and managing the content calendar
• Weekly performance tracking

Core Responsibilities
Beyond content creation, you will:

• Conduct collaborative research and spot viral or cultural ---------- nts early
• Help build and refine our creative operating system
• Design and optimize monetization funnels
• Develop strategies to de-platform and own audience data

2) Qualifications:

- Content Creation & Execution
Turn briefs and outlines into finished carousels, infographics, and social assets for LinkedIn, Instagram, and the newsletter on a consistent schedule
Write clear, concise, and engaging social copy tailored to each platform: LinkedIn, Instagram, and newsletter
Use Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI tools to design and assemble visual assets quickly and efficiently
Write and refine hooks that stop the scroll on LinkedIn and Instagram
Design carousels and cheat sheets that make complex ideas easy to read, save, and share
Create engaging, platform-ready social content that feels native to each channel
Ensure all content aligns with Suad's Gems brand guidelines, tone, and messaging
Apply a basic understanding of SEO and how it applies to social content and platform discoverability
Build and maintain a template library so production gets faster over time while staying on-brand
Repurpose content across formats, for example, turning a newsletter piece into a carousel or a carousel into a single-image post

- Social Media Strategy & Planning
Own and manage the social media content calendar, aligning content to campaigns, launches, events, and PR coverage
Proactively generate new content ideas, formats, and series that support awareness and engagement goals
Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices with a strong understanding of the luxury audience
Respond to trends and cultural ---------- nts in luxury, fashion, and culture with on-brand content
Adjust layouts or formats quickly when direction or priorities shift

- Measurement, Reporting & Optimization
Track, report on, and interpret social media performance and analytics across LinkedIn and Instagram
Strong understanding of engagement metrics, attribution, funnel performance, and audience behavior
Share insights and recommendations to continuously improve content performance and impact
Ability to build dashboards and visualize data for non-technical stakeholders
Experience conducting A/B tests to optimize content, formats, and posting strategies
Skilled in transforming raw data into insights, trends, and actionable recommendations

3) QUALIFICATIONS (YOU'D BE A GREAT FIT)
- You have real experience in luxury, fashion, or beauty. This is non-negotiable.
- You follow the industry, you have opinions on it, and that knowledge shows up in your work.
- 5 years minimum of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
- You have hands-on experience creating social content for brand or business accounts (B2B preferred) with a strong portfolio that proves it.
- You are obsessed with fashion and culture. You actively follow designers, shows, drops, and industry news, and you have your own point of view on what's happening
- Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and analytics, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and newsletters.
- Hands-on experience with Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) is an asset.
- Strong writing skills, especially hooks that stop the scroll on LinkedIn and Instagram
- You've spent time in an agency or fast-paced environment doing hybrid creative work: writing, designing, and producing at the same time, with deadlines
- You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
- You understand typography, hierarchy, spacing, and composition, and you notice when something is off
- You know what makes content perform on LinkedIn and Instagram, not just what looks good, but what actually gets saves and shares
- Comfortable analyzing performance data and translating insights into actionable improvements
- Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Growth mindset with a passion for learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement
- Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through. You get stuff done.
- You have your own computer and equipment. This is a remote role, and no equipment is provided.
- Willing to meet via video a couple of hours most days on Eastern Standard Time.
- Team player comfortable working remotely.
