Full-time, 40 hours/week. Direct hire. Long-term.
$1,200 – $1,900 USD/month, depending on experience.
WHY THIS IS A GOOD JOB
- Direct hire, full-time, long-term. You work for Crossgate, not through an agency.
- Above-market pay. We're paying $1,200–1,900 because we want someone genuinely good, and we'd rather pay for that than sort through a résumé pile.
- A brand you build from zero. No legacy, no committee, nothing to work around. You'll have a large impact on what Crossgate looks like.
- A ridiculous amount of raw material. Our editors finish around 200 property shoots a month — photos, video, 3D tours, drone. New professional-grade footage lands every day, and it's yours to build content from.
- Direct access to leadership. You'd report to Nathan, Owner of Crossgate. No layers.
ABOUT CROSSGATE REALTY MEDIA
We're a real estate media company. Our editors produce photos, video, 3D tours, and drone work for real estate agents, brokerages, and home builders across multiple US markets. We're growing fast — new markets, new photographers, new services — and we've never had a marketing team. Nobody here is responsible for telling the industry we exist. That's what you'd fix.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build Crossgate's visual identity — the look, the templates, the formats everything we publish inherits.
- Create content for Instagram,
- Invent content ideas we haven't thought of. This is the part of the job we can't write down, and it's the reason the role exists.
- Design our marketing collateral: newsletter layout, blog graphics, new-market launch campaigns.
- Produce internal announcements — new photographers, new markets, team news.
- Work alongside our content writer, who edits and schedules what you make.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years marketing a brand — content that grew an audience or brought in customers.
- Strong short-form video and design skills (Premiere, CapCut, Figma, Canva, or Adobe).
- The ability to build a system — a template set, a visual language — not just one-off pieces.
- Good written English. Your hooks and captions have to land.
- A portfolio of marketing work you made, and the ability to explain why it worked.
- Comfortable hearing "this isn't working" and coming back with something better.
- Good understanding of how to prompt AI and edit it's output.
ONE HONEST NOTE
This is marketing for Crossgate's own brand — not client editing. We have a separate team of editors who handle all client deliverables, and you'd never touch a client file. If you're looking for production work, this isn't it. If you're a marketer who wants to own a brand, it's a good one.
