JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a creative, self-sufficient social media specialist to create high-quality posts, event promotions, and regular community engagement content for two brands:

South Dakota Grassland Coalition ( ---------- )
Website Design Business that Specializes in Website builds and redesigns for small businesses ( ---------- )

***Applicants MUST be at a Native-English speaking level***

Responsibilities:

Plan and create engaging, professional social media content (Instagram & Facebook)
Write captivating captions in native-level English (no broken grammar or awkward phrasing)
Design promotional graphics using Canva (or similar tool)
Create and maintain social media content calendars
Help run simple promos: Stories, Polls, Countdown Timers, Facebook Events
Track basic engagement metrics
Coordinate posting schedules around events, launches, and sales
Stay proactive: propose post ideas without needing micromanagement

Requirements:

Native-level English fluency (IMPORTANT: Applications will be rejected otherwise)
Proven social media portfolio (send samples or links)
Strong graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
Understanding of promotional content, not just aesthetic content
Organized, able to meet deadlines without reminders
Bonus: familiarity with agriculture, ranching, or small business helpful

Schedule:

I am unsure how many hours will be needed but I will guarantee at least 10 hrs a week. The pay is $5-6/hr. This position could easily grow into more hours with the right person.
