JOB OVERVIEW

HeartStamp is a US greeting card and gifting brand. We are hiring one full-time contractor to own everything that comes back to us on social: comments, DMs, mentions, reviews, and group conversations. You are not making the content. You are the voice replying to it, and the voice showing up in other people's comment sections.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Reply to comments and DMs across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, X, and YouTube
- Answer first-line customer questions and route order or billing issues to the right person
- Comment early and in our voice on posts from the creators and communities our customers already follow, and build our follow lists
- Use our card art and animated GIFs as comment assets where it fits naturally, never as a sales pitch
- Help grow our own community spaces and show up helpfully in groups we do not own
- Report weekly on what people are saying, what is working, and what the product team should know

WHAT WE NEED
- 2+ years managing community, engagement, or social customer care for a consumer brand
- Near-native written English. You will be writing publicly for a US audience, on your own, many times a day
- Strong knowledge of American pop culture and internet humor: celebrity and entertainment news, fashion, music, reality TV, ---------- s, and trends. Most of our customers are in their 20s, 30s, and 40s
- You can write a funny reply, not just a safe one
- Real hands-on platform knowledge, especially TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook Groups
- Sound judgment under pressure. You can tell the difference between a joke, a complaint, and a fire
- Experience with at least one social or care tool (Sprout, Hootsuite, Later, Agorapulse, Zendesk, Gorgias, or similar)
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet space for calls

SCHEDULE
- Approx 45 hours per week
- At least 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (GMT -4) (11am to 3pm EST)
- Light weekend monitoring on a rotation, roughly 60 minutes per day

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
- Someone who needs a script for every situation
- Someone who wants to be a content creator first and a responder second
- Someone who copy-pastes ChatGPT into comment boxes

TERMS
This is an independent contractor role paid monthly in USD. No 13th month pay or benefits. Performance review at 90 days.
